Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Marnie brings extensive leadership experience in both executive and non-executive roles and has a strong track record driving growth for consumer and ecommerce brands. Marnie currently serves as Senior Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Renumeration Committee for Applied Nutrition plc and is Chair of University Academy 92 Limited. Until recently, Marnie also chaired the boards of Kitwave plc, Marks Electricals plc and MyPura.Com Limited and was Non-Executive Director for Finsbury Food Group plc and Belvoir Fruit Farms Ltd. During her impressive executive career, Marnie spent eight years as Chief Executive Officer of Nichols plc, the diversified soft drinks group. Here she delivered a strong track record of sustained growth, increasing the Company's market capitalisation by 60% and doubling the Group's retail sales value. Prior to joining Nichols plc, Marnie held the roles of Sales and Marketing Director at Macaw Limited, Commercial Director at Gerber Juice Company Limited, and Managing Director of Refresco Beverages UK Limited. In 2018, she was awarded an OBE for Services to Business in the Northwest and International Trade in the Queen's Birthday Honours. She also holds an Honorary Doctorate in Business Administration from Salford University.
