  14 March 2024   Avon Protection plc Board Update Appointment of Non-Executive Director   Avon Protection plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Maggie Brereton as an independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 April 2024.   Maggie is Co-founder and CEO of EOS, a specialist provider of deal advisory services. Prior to founding EOS, she was Head of UK Transaction Services at KPMG where she also served as a Board member, chairing the Audit Committee and sitting on the Risk and Remuneration Committees.   Maggie brings over 20 years' experience of working on complex transactions and business transformation programmes for both private equity and corporate clients. She also brings significant experience in the industrial sector including aerospace and defence.   Maggie will also become a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees from 1 April 2024.   There is no other information required to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13 in respect of Maggie Brereton.   Non-Executive Director Changes   As indicated in the annual report released on 21 November 2023, after 8 years as a Non-Executive Director, Chloe Ponsonby planned to step down from the Board during 2024 due to an increase in her executive responsibilities.   Chloe Ponsonby will now stand down from the Board on 31 March 2024. Victor Chavez will replace Chloe as Chair of the Remuneration Committee and Bindi Foyle will replace Chloe as Senior Independent Director alongside her role as Audit Committee Chair.   Bruce Thompson, Chair, commented:   "We are delighted to welcome Maggie to the Board.
