CONROY DIAMONDS AND GOLD
APPOINTMENT OF IRISH STOCKBROKER
Conroy Diamonds and Gold P.l.c., the AIM listed Irish exploration Company,
whose recent discovery of gold in County Armagh has significantly enhanced the
prospectivity of its Armagh-Monaghan gold belt in Ireland, has appointed
Dolmen Butler Briscoe ('Dolmen') as Irish stockbroker.
Dolmen, whose staff includes a mining analyst, will assist Conroy in creating
liquidity and broadening its shareholder base and will issue a full quarterly
research note on the Company.
UK Stockbrokers, Seymour Pierce and Seymour Pierce Ellis, will continue to act
as Nominated Adviser and Nominated Broker respectively to Conroy for the
purposes of the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange
where over the last month the Company has finalised significant private
placement fund raisings giving it adequate cash to pursue its current
exploration objectives.
Professor Richard Conroy said today: 'With our established position in gold in
Ireland, North and South, the Company's recent expansion of exploration
programmes into Finland, with that country's potential for both diamonds and
gold, and our expanding shareholder base in the UK and Ireland, it is
appropriate that the Company should have stockbrokers in both London and
Dublin'
