About this update from Amixa Holding Plc
Press Release Amixa Holding reports 23% revenue growth in H1 2025 Budapest, September 30, 2025 - Amixa Holding Nyrt. delivered a strong first half, reporting nearly 23% year-on-year revenue growth, a positive net result, and the successful completion of a strategic acquisition. The company today published its unaudited consolidated IFRS results for the six months ended June 30, 2025. Group revenue rose 23% to HUF 7.8 billion, EBITDA reached HUF 418 million, and net profit amounted to HUF 127.7 million. Growth was supported by solid expansion in the food wholesale segment and the acquisition of Hunorganic Kft. During the first half, Amixa executed several key strategic initiatives. On June 4, 2025, it completed the 100% acquisition of Hunorganic Kft., bringing Hunorganic's 50% stake in Naturtrend Food Kft. into the scope of consolidation. The company also completed a share capital increase and successfully listed 336,599 new ordinary shares on the Budapest Stock Exchange on July 16, 2025, increasing the total number of shares outstanding to 13,006,098 (par value: HUF 20). Development programs advanced as planned, with ongoing implementation of the Foodnet GINOP and Neumann/ÉLIP projects. These initiatives are expected to significantly expand production capacity from 2026 onwards, including the installation of a new cheese slicing and packaging line, an automated flour-mixing and pasta production line at Hunorganic, and a range of energy-efficiency upgrades. Amixa's food wholesale operations, including Foodnet and Tradiconsult, continued to strengthen their market position. The portfolio was expanded with new premium and functional brands (including Elmas, Lemonsoda/Orange/Mojitosoda, Vitamin Well, Yaw Snacks, Sante, and San Yan), while sales volumes increased by nearly 10%. Integration of Hunorganic and Naturtrend is underway, aligning their gluten-free and health-focused product portfolios. The ongoing installation of new production lines is expected to increase flour-mixing and pasta-making capacity by four to five times from 2026. Despite a challenging macroeconomic backdrop marked by commodity price volatility and rising logistics costs, Amixa's direct exposure remains limited, and management continues to proactively monitor and mitigate potential risks. Amixa remains committed to integrating sustainability and ESG principles into its growth strategy. The group's investments deliver significant energy-efficiency and environmental benefits, while the expansion of its gluten-free and health-oriented product lines reflects growing consumer demand for health-oriented offerings. "This period marks a turning point for Amixa: alongside a marked improvement in operating performance, we have made significant progress on the integration of Hunorganic and capacity-expansion projects. Through disciplined portfolio and cost management, we are focused on delivering sustainable long-term value for our business partners and shareholders," said Zoltán Prutkay, Chairman of the Board. Management expects second-half revenue, EBITDA, and net profit to exceed the already strong first-half levels, in line with the company's growth strategy.
