Altavoz Entertainment, Inc. has signed Tommy Amato’s record label Tommy’s Island Records to a full-service, comprehensive distribution deal which will serve as a vehicle for his new music and other projects. First out will be Cadillac Row, a six song EP which Altavoz will make available via digital retailers and targeted brick & mortar stores. Cadillac Row is filled with rock blues mixed with vocal tracks and ballads bringing a combination of “the best of Tommy” from a 30- plus year career.
“Been looking for something like Altavoz, and when our former Beau Coup manager Michael Manocchio happened to mention it on a call, I was interested. After learning about the Altavoz family tied to a tech approach, I was sold,” said Amato.
The EP’s tracks feature solos by Taylor Swift guitarist Paul Sidoti, blues slide mastery by one-time Tower of Power guitarist Butch Armstrong, and the versatility of producer Justin Sheehy. Sheehy also plays all the drums bass and lays in some background vocals on select tracks.
“Tom and his crew are some of the hardest working musicians in the business and we’re ready to put out music -- whether it’s new albums or big hits from the past -- that fans let us know the want to buy through our “Buying This” technology” said Altavoz CEO Nelson Jacobsen.
