Established Australian copper-gold producer and explorer, Aeris Resources Limited (ASX: AIS) (Aeris or the Company) is pleased to provide an update on operations at the Mt Colin copper mine in North-West Queensland.
Over the last week, the region has recorded extreme levels of rainfall. At 10:30pm on Wednesday 8 March 2023, all personnel were withdrawn from the Mt Colin copper mine due to excessive water flows. The site team focussed on water management activities and the situation has since stabilised, enabling mine production and ore haulage activities to recommence today.
