06. Acomo closes acquisition of Citromil, a leading Spanish organic citrus producer

Citromil, a leading organic citrus ingredients business is active in the sourcing and processing of a broad portfolio of citrus-based products, including juices, concentrates, essential oils, and other citrus products serving customers in the food, beverage, flavor, and ingredients industries. The company has established a strong market position through its expertise in citrus processing, product quality, and customer-focused solutions.

Citromil will continue doing business under its own name and will become part of Tradin Organic, in Acomo's organic ingredients segment. The current Managing Director, Roberto Vilaplana Pérez will continue to manage the local business and will work in close coordination with Tradin Organic to create more value and strengthen the supply chain and create business opportunities for both Citromil as well as Tradin Organic.

Acomo's new acquisition complements the existing activities in the Organic Ingredients segment and further strengthens Acomo's position in natural, organic, plant-based food ingredients. Citromil will continue to conduct business in line with its entrepreneurial heritage, and work together with Acomo group companies where feasible.

The acquisition is in line with Acomo's 'Building Routes to Healthier Foods' strategy as presented at the Capital Markets Day in 2025. The strategy specified, amongst others, that further investments in attractive growth markets and value-added ingredient categories are a key priority for Acomo.

Following previous investments aimed at expanding Acomo's global footprint and ingredient portfolio, the acquisition of Citromil further strengthens the Group's presence in Southern Europe and enhances its capabilities in the citrus ingredients market. The acquisition broadens Acomo's product offering and creates additional opportunities to serve customers worldwide with high-quality, natural ingredient solutions.
