VANCOUVER, Aug. 23 /CNW/ - SNS Silver Corporation (TSX-V: SNS) ("SNS") reports continued progress at the Crescent Mine. SNS has completed the drilling of an additional 5 holes for a total of 15 completed holes in the upper country of the Crescent Mine approximating 17,500 feet of core. SNS expects results may be released as early as the beginning of next week. The three drills from Kettle Drilling continue to run round-the-clock shifts, averaging 600 feet per day. A building has been constructed and completed which will be used as a designated core shed.
Rehabilitation of the Hooper Tunnel is now complete and drifting will commence at the beginning of next week. The rehabilitation of the 2,000 foot Big Creek No. 4 portal has been completed, with a rail and electrical systems placed back the whole way. Big Creek No. 4 is used for ventilation of the Hooper Tunnel and a secondary escape way.
SNS Silver Corp. (SNS: TSX-V) is an exploration mining company, whose primary asset is the 100% owned Crescent Mine located in Kellogg, Idaho - one of the largest silver districts in North America with over one billion ounces of silver produced.
