Mr. Kosonen, a dedicated entrepreneur, and investor has over 30 years’ experience in leadership roles in businesses across Europe, Asia, and North America. His current focus is on natural resource investments, particularly mineral exploration companies operating in mining-friendly jurisdictions.
Mr. Kosonen is the co-founder and director of NewQuest Capital Inc. and OCP Holdings Ltd., privately held investment firms based in Vancouver, Canada. He also founded and serves as Chairman of FinEx Metals Ltd., which holds gold and nickel exploration assets in his native Finland. Additionally, Mr. Kosonen sits on the board of directors of Inflection Resources Ltd. and Headwater Gold Inc.
Previously, Mr. Kosonen held the position of Managing Director, Asia-Pacific, for Nokia Cables (later NK Cables), a leading global manufacturer and supplier of telecommunications equipment. He holds a master's degree in economics and has lived and worked in Finland, China, and Singapore prior to relocating to Vancouver, Canada.

Noora Ahola
President, CEO & Director at Mawson Finland Limited

Ms. Ahola is a Forestry Engineer with a Masters Degree of Natural Resources and Landscape Management. She has developed strong experience within the Finnish environmental administration, applying environmental and other land-use legislation for nature protection and other purposes and she has a strong ESG record. Her most recent roles during past 10 years have been in the mining industry as Managing Director of Mawson Oy and Interim CEO and Environmental Director of Mawson Gold Ltd before starting as a CEO of Mawson Finland Limited. Before that Ms. Ahola worked over 10 years in the Finnish environmental administration in The Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment for Lapland (ELY-Centre) in the Nature Protection Unit as an inspector and project manager. Ms. Ahola also has years of experience working in the forestry sector and with other land uses.
Ms. Ahola represents mining business in the Lapland Chamber of Commerce, Finnish Mining Association and Arctic Centre (University of Lapland) boards. Ms. Ahola is also a Director in a few other private companies. As President, Chief Executive Officer and Director, Ms. Ahola is responsible for developing and executing the Corporation’s short- and long-term goals and for all executive management matters at the Corporation, including the management of staff.
