Today we are proud to announce the hiring of Laloni N. Nelson to our executive team of WOWI Inc. as the permanent CFO. After many interviews and tons of candidates over the past couple years we finally found the perfect fit for our current needs and future plans. Laloni comes to us from a very impressive employment history as head accountant and her background, skill set and personality puts her highly qualified to be the active CFO for us here at WOWI. " When I first talked to Ms. Nelson I knew we would end up working with eachother. I just wasn't sure at what capacity and how quickly. We are back to full speed ahead and as the successes of the past three years unfold in our licensed agreements we finally had the need, the will and the work to take on a qualified, capable and solid individual like Laloni." says CEO Anthony C. Russo. Further more, " I realized after all the interviewing I just needed to make an offer to the woman who far outpaced the others." Anthony C. Russo also adds.
Laloni most notablly was a Senior Accountant with Johnson Controls, formerly Tyco International, and has 8 years as a senior level accountant and diversified industry experience under her belt. Ms. Nelson will immediately take on all CFO tasks and also help to implement and draw up new SOP's on inventory management, process reengineering, tax preperations, forecasting and budgeting, internal and external audit control as well as working with other external professionals for our move to fully audited financials and a preperation for a new S1 filing. "We are excited to continue the path we set out on in 2016 to make WORLD OF WEED a household name nationally in the legal cannabis arena. To propel our brand, procedures and operations from Colorado to other legal states all the while continuing to foster our growth plan here in Colorado." Anthony C. Russo further says.
WOWI continues to lead the way and add quality professionals to its management. We see this as the begining of rebuilding a diverse executive braintrust and also a lead in to creating again a diverse, active and quality board of directors.
