MyRepublic Indonesia Delivers Integrated Humanitarian Assistance and Digital Literacy Support in Medan

Jakarta, 15 December 2025 – PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk, through its subsidiary MyRepublic Indonesia, reaffirmed its commitment to social responsibility by delivering various forms of humanitarian and educational support for communities affected by disasters in Sumatra. The initiative was carried out in Medan, North Sumatra, as part of MyRepublic Indonesia’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, including the Roketin Generasi Tunas Digital initiative, as well as humanitarian assistance and customer protection for those impacted.

SMA Swasta Dharmawangsa Medan was one of the main beneficiaries of the program. MyRepublic Indonesia provided free high-speed internet access of 500 Mbps for one year to support post-disaster recovery and ensure the continuity of teaching and learning activities. This support is expected to provide students and educators with reliable digital access for their daily educational needs.

In addition to educational support, MyRepublic Indonesia also granted internet bill waivers for all MyRepublic Indonesia customers affected by disasters in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra. This policy reflects the company’s empathy and responsibility in helping ease the burden on communities during emergency situations.

From a humanitarian perspective, MyRepublic Indonesia collaborated with Save the Children to distribute aid to flood and landslide victims, including blankets, food, and drinking water for affected families. Furthermore, together with strategic partners Fiberhome and Pristine, MyRepublic Indonesia distributed assistance packages to the academic community of SMA Swasta Dharmawangsa, consisting of school supplies, cooking oil, and drinking water, demonstrating cross-sector collaboration in disaster response.

“We believe that reliable internet access, tangible support for schools, and protection for affected customers are integral to our responsibility in building an inclusive and sustainable digital ecosystem. Through this initiative, MyRepublic Indonesia aims to be present not only as a service provider, but also as a community partner that stands together with society throughout the recovery process and in strengthening the younger generation,” said Timotius Max Sulaiman, CEO of MyRepublic Indonesia.

The initiative was further strengthened by a digital literacy session delivered by the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Komdigi) in collaboration with MyRepublic Indonesia. The program aimed to equip students and educators with knowledge on safe, smart, and productive internet usage, in line with the challenges and needs of the digital era.

The event was attended by Ms. Meutya Hafid, Minister of Communication and Digital of the Republic of Indonesia; Mr. H. Surya, B.Sc., Vice Governor of North Sumatra; Mr. Timotius Max Sulaiman, CEO of MyRepublic Indonesia; and Ms. Anum Herawati Harahap, S.Pd., MH, Principal of SMA Swasta Dharmawangsa Medan. Stakeholders emphasized the importance of synergy between educational recovery, humanitarian support, and digital literacy strengthening to build a resilient and inclusive learning ecosystem.

On the same occasion, a symbolic ceremony was held to appoint six selected students and six teachers as Roketin Generasi Tunas Digital Ambassadors, with the honorary scarves presented directly by Ms. Meutya Hafid together with Mr. Timotius Max Sulaiman. All forms of assistance were symbolically handed over by MyRepublic Indonesia’s leadership alongside key stakeholders.

Through this series of initiatives, MyRepublic Indonesia reaffirmed its role not only as an internet service provider, but also as a community partner that actively contributes during challenging times. MyRepublic Indonesia believes that direct support for education, humanitarian needs, and customers forms a critical foundation for recovery efforts and for preparing Indonesia’s younger generation to face a sustainable digital future.
