Willcox International Holdings Inc. (WINH) attends the World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Willcox International attended the World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on January 16-18, 2023 as part of its ongoing efforts in the environmental protection, decontamination and renewable energy projects. Ramzi Khoury, VP of Willcox Energy Inc. and Director of International Development, met with several international companies and international dignitaries to present the latest technology at the company’s disposal.  A central focus of our meetings was to present the interested parties with custom-tailored solutions which Willcox can provide to them.  Among those were the extraction of lithium from brine that is in use in multiple oil fields across the MENA (Middle East/North Africa) region. As the industries of the Middle East seek to ‘greenify’ their methods and processes of energy development, a focus point of current and increasing interest is in the reduction of harmful byproducts of oil field brines and salt water desalination.   Willcox has both the technologies and the expertise to assist in these efforts, and several such solutions were proposed to the representatives of a number of GGC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries.

The information presented by Mr. Khoury was very well received, and Willcox has been invited to return to finalize individual plans and proposals with a number of organizations, as well as to begin exploratory geographical survey work.  We intend to become a trusted resource in the region, with an aim to assist both MENA governments and private entities in the region with 1) energy storage solutions, addressing peak/off-peak issues innate to wind and solar energy production, 2) waste-to-energy solutions, in using our decontamination technologies to convert industrial byproducts/discharges to useful and safe materials, and 3) to provide a means to oil producers to maximize their economic advantage by extracting lithium and other valuable minerals from oil field brines.
