In October 2020,  Save As You Earn Options ('SAYE Options') with a per share exercise price of £0.96 over 984,973 ordinary shares in Wilmington plc (the "Company") were granted under the Wilmington SAYE Plan 2018 (the "SAYE Scheme") to employees of the Company and its subsidiaries. Participation in the SAYE Scheme was open to all eligible employees as defined by the scheme. The exercise price of £0.96 was calculated in accordance with the rules as set out in the SAYE Scheme.

In December 2023 the SAYE Options vested, and can be exercised within six months following vesting.

 

In accordance with Section 551 of the Companies Act 2006 and under the authority of its shareholders, Wilmington plc announces that it has issued a further 18,750 ordinary voting shares to satisfy the Company's obligations in respect of awards and options exercised under the 2018 Wilmington Save As You Earn plan. Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for 18,750 ordinary shares of 5 pence each to be admitted to the Official List and to trading on the Main Market. It is expected that trading will commence on 19 December 2023. These shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued shares of the Company.

 

Following the issue of further ordinary shares of 5 pence each the Company now has issued voting share capital of  89,569,804 ordinary shares of 5 pence each.
