VIQ Solutions Appoints New Director

MARKHAM, ON, Nov. 23 /CNW/ - VIQ Solutions Inc. ("VIQ Solutions" or the
"Corporation") (TSX Venture: VQS) is pleased to announce the appointment of
John McLeod to the Corporation's board of directors, effective immediately.
Mr. McLeod has more than 25 years experience with emerging technology
companies. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of CablesEdge Software
Inc., which provides voice access to email, contacts, scheduling, and other
vertical market applications. Mr. McLeod was the founder and CEO of Spectra
Securities Software, which provided wealth management software to major global
financial institutions. Mr. McLeod is a Chartered Accountant.
In connection with his appointment as a director of VIQ Solutions,
Mr. McLeod was granted 46,250 stock options, which are exercisable at $0.13
per share, being the closing price of the Corporation's shares on the TSX
Venture Exchange on November 22, 2006. The options have a term of five years
and vest one-third on the date of granting, with an additional one-third
vesting on each of the next two anniversaries of the date of granting. The
options are subject to a four month hold period, as per the policies of the
TSX Venture Exchange.
