Union Jack Oil plc (AIM: UJO) a UK focused onshore hydrocarbon production, development and exploration company announces that the Board is in the late stages of a process to appoint a new auditor following the Company's decision to end its relationship with BDO LLP for commercial reasons.

BDO LLP has confirmed in writing to the Directors that: "We confirm that none of the reasons for us ceasing to hold office and no matters connected with our ceasing to hold office need to be brought to the attention of members or creditors of the Company."
