Re: Appointment of Joint Broker

Synergia Energy Ltd (the "Company" or "Synergia") is pleased to announce the appointment of Panmure Gordon (UK) Limited as Joint Broker, alongside Novum Securities, with immediate effect. 

Re: Change of Status of Company Chairman

Joe Salomon, currently Executive Chairman, will move into the role of Non-Executive Chairman with immediate effect. This change is designed to adopt a "best practice" board structure for AIM-quoted companies.

Synergia's Chief Executive Officer, Roland Wessel, said:

"The appointment of Panmure Gordon as Joint Broker will provide the Company with an enhanced reach towards institutional investors in line with the Company's strategy.

The change in Joe Salomon's role to Non-Executive Chairman follows a two-year transition period during which Joe provided invaluable continuity to myself and my colleagues. We look forward to Joe's continued guidance via his leadership of the Synergia Board of Directors."
