Grants of Options

SURGICAL INNOVATIONS GROUP PLC GRANTS OF OPTIONS Surgical Innovations Group plc ("the Company") announces that on 27 January 2009 the Company granted options to subscribe for 8,000,000 ordinary shares of 1p each to directors and employees of the Company. All of the options are exerciseable at a price of 1.5p per share at any time between 27 January 2012 and 27 January 2019.
