Sidney Resources Corporation (SDRC) is pleased to announce Ground Hog Mining & Milling Company, our contractor, has successfully completed the work on the new tunnel and connected with the old tunnel that was used to mine the Lucky Ben Vein in the early 1900’s. The old tunnel has now been surveyed for approximately 300 feet and additional exploration work will be completed in the future to locate previously mined stopes.
The core drilling equipment is on location and core drilling is scheduled to begin this coming week. The primary focus of the core drilling is in the area below the previously mined stope. Management anticipates the earliest core drilling assay reports will be obtained is a minimum of 3 months. A new video update will be available on our company website located at www.sidneyresourcescorporation.com and we will continue to post additional pictures and videos as they become available.
In addition to this major step forward, survey work has been completed on the project road system and an application to construct a new access road will be submitted to the U.S. Forest Service for review and approval. Our goal is to construct the new access road during the 2022 season.
We are also pleased to announce we have entered into a lease agreement for office space in Coeur D’ Alene, Idaho that will house the new mining technology research and development division. The engineer team will move into the new office on October 1, 2021.
