Correction Statement: Clarification on Strategic Advisor Appointment

Shortwave Life Sciences PLC (AQSE: PSY), the UK's leading healthcare company developing innovative treatments for anorexia nervosa, wishes to issue the following correction relating to its announcement dated 29 July 2025, titled "£250,000 Placing at £0.0025 per share, Appointment of Company Directors and Adviser, Comprehensive Business Review to Drive Company Repositioning."

In that announcement, it was stated that Stefania Barbaglio had been appointed as a Strategic Advisor to the Board. The Company wishes to clarify that Ms Barbaglio has not been appointed in any official capacity, nor has she undertaken any formal role with Shortwave Life Sciences PLC.

The inclusion of Ms Barbaglio's name in the announcement was made in error. The Company apologises to Ms Barbaglio for any confusion or inconvenience caused and confirms that she will have no future involvement with the Company. We wish her every success in her future endeavours.
