Change of Auditor

Severn Trent Plc (the 'Company') today announces that it has completed a formal tender process, overseen by its Audit and Risk Committee, for its Group audit which has carefully evaluated the offering of each participant. This has resulted in a recommendation from the Audit and Risk Committee, which has now been endorsed by the Board, that a resolution be put to shareholders for approval at the 2025 Annual General Meeting ('AGM'), appointing PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the Group's auditor for the year ending 31 March 2026.

Deloitte LLP, who have been the Company's auditor since the year ended 31 March 2006, will continue in the role until that time, and will therefore undertake the Group audit for the year ending 31 March 2025. Deloitte LLP will cease to hold office as the Group's auditor at the conclusion of the Company's 2025 AGM.
