ANNOUNCEMENT OF CURRENCY EXCHANGE RATE FOR Q3 2023 INTERIM DIVIDEND

Lagos and London, 10^th November 2023:  Seplat Energy PLC ("Seplat" or the "Company"), a leading Nigerian independent energy company listed on both the Nigerian Exchange Limited and London Stock Exchange, today confirms that the below currency exchange rate is applicable in determining Q3 2023 interim dividend to shareholders that will receive the dividend payment in Naira (NGN):

Exchange Rate

1 USD = 996.75 NGN

The exchange rate for the Naira amounts payable was determined by reference to the exchange rate applicable to the US dollar available on November 9, 2023.

Shareholders should refer to the Company's announcement on October 30, 2023 for definition of default currency on the company website at https://seplatenergy.com/investors/dividend.
