SAEAN's electric 30-ton truck, ET-30, will be available in August!
The world's first articulated 30-ton electric truck has been developed by SAEAN and will debut its first production vehicle this August.
Compared to the existing Volvo A25G model, the ET-30 has a payload of 27 tons, which is higher than Volvo's 24 tons, and a 35-degree working hill Climbing Ability, which is more powerful than the 24-degree A25G.
The turning radius is 6.7 meters compared to the Volvo's 8-meter turning radius, which is typical of articulated vehicles, making it easier to maneuver in tight spaces such as tunnels.
With a motor power of 410 kW, the ET-30 is also more powerful than the competition's 232 kW. When it comes to driving torque, the most important aspect of the vehicle in the field, the ET-30 is far ahead, with a maximum torque of 250 kg.m. compared to 195 kg.m. in the competition.
The new vehicle will debut this August in Saudi Arabia, Japan, and South Korea before expanding to Australia, the United States, and Europe.
