Official Statement from Barito Renewables To Clarify False Message Circulating on the Ijen Geothermal Project

Jakarta, April 22, 2024 – Barito Renewables management is aware of a message circulating under the title “Indonesia’s BREN Uncovers Major Gold Reserve in Ijen Geothermal Project”, which falsely claims to be authored by Mr. Prajogo Pangestu, Chairman of Barito Pacific Group.
 
Barito Renewables wishes to formally and unequivocally clarify that the message did not originate from Mr. Prajogo Pangestu, nor from any official or authorized representative of Barito Renewables and subsidiaries. 
 
We urge the public and market participants to exercise caution amid a growing number of attempts to impersonate representatives of Barito Renewables or misrepresent information related to our operations.
