NatWest Group plc Annual Results 2025
NatWest Group reported a strong 2025 performance with total income rising 13.2% to £16.6 billion, driven by net interest income growth of 13.8% to £12.8 billion and a 21 basis point increase in net interest margin to 2.34%. The bank achieved a Return on Tangible Equity of 19.2%, significantly up from 17.5% in 2024, with attributable profit increasing 21.2% to £5.5 billion. Operating expenses rose 1.4% to £8.3 billion, resulting in an improved cost:income ratio of 48.6% excluding litigation and conduct costs. The Common Equity Tier 1 ratio stood at a robust 14.0%, and the proposed final dividend of 23.0 pence per share brings the total for the year to 32.5 pence, a 51% increase.
