Echo, the natural resources company which is reviewing a potentially transformational gold project in Latin America, has today published a notice convening its Annual General Meeting (the "AGM") to be held on 26 June 2024 at 1 p.m. at the offices of Fieldfisher LLP, Riverbank House, 2 Swan Lane, London, EC4R 3TT. A copy of the notice of AGM will be available on the Company's website at www.echoenergyplc.com
James Parsons, a non-executive director of the Company, will be stepping down from the Board at the AGM. The Board thanks Mr Parsons for his contribution to the business over the last seven years and wishes him well in his future endeavours.

The Company is studying a number of potentially transformational projects which fit with this revised strategy. Among these potential opportunities is a gold project in Latin America, which the Directors believe has the potential to create significant future value for shareholders, without requiring a large initial capital investment.
