Board change

The Company today announces that Thérèse Esperdy has decided to step down from the Board as a Non-Executive Director on 31 December 2023 after serving more than nine years.

Paula Reynolds, Chair of National Grid, said "Thérèse has been a person of extraordinary commitment and insight during her tenure.  The board composition has changed significantly over recent years and Thérèse's presence has been invaluable. I am grateful for her willingness to remain until the end of the year to facilitate an orderly succession."

This announcement is made in accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.11.
