LPA Group PLC 4 December 2000 LPA Group Plc 4th December 2000 Appointment of Finance Director LPA Group Plc ('LPA' or 'Group'), the Essex based specialist electrical and electronics group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Brett B.Sc., MBA, ACA, as Group Finance Director and Secretary. Steve (44), who joins the Group today, qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Whinney in 1982 having graduated with honours from University College London. Steve joined the head office of BTR plc in 1983, and following a seventeen year career with BTR and its successor Invensys Plc, he was most recently Vice President Finance of Invensys Environmental Control a division employing 1300 people with worldwide sales of £100m. He joins LPA having successfully divested Invensys of that business. The previous Finance Director, Sheena Trueman, will leave the board but remain as Finance Director of LPA Industries Limited.
