Appointment of a Non-Executive Director

Jupiter Fund Management plc is pleased to announce the appointment of James Macpherson as an independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 30 September 2024.  James will join the Company's Audit and Risk Committee, Remuneration Committee and Nomination Committee. 

James was Deputy CIO, Fundamental Active Equities at BlackRock.  In this role, James led the Global, Thematic, Natural Resources and Health Science strategies and Equity Closed-end Funds.  In his 35 years at BlackRock and predecessor companies, James was Co-head of UK Equities from 2001-2016, acted as the investor representative for BlackRock's global corporate governance oversight function, and held various executive committee positions in the EMEA region.

James is a Non-executive Director and Chair Designate of JPMorgan Global Growth & Income plc.
