RNS Announcement - Jersey Electricity Plc - Directorate Change - Appointment of Non-Executive Director

As part of its succession process, the Board of Jersey Electricity Plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Savery as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 01 December 2025.

Paul has lived in Jersey since 2003 and headed up the Barclays' franchise across the Crown Dependencies - Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man - and London.

Prior to moving to Jersey, Paul was Corporate Director for Barclays Bank of Botswana Limited and held senior roles in UK Corporate Banking and also in Egypt with Banque du Caire Barclays.

He was UK finalist and Jersey winner of IoD Director of the year, Large Company in 2017.

Paul has been Chairman of Macmillan Jersey for 4 years, with the charity seeking to support all those in Jersey impacted by cancer.

He was Deputy Chairman for Jersey Finance Limited, is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and holds the Institute of Directors Diploma and Certificate in Company Direction.

Independence: The Board considers that Paul is independent in character and judgment, and that there are no relationships or circumstances that are likely to affect his judgement.

Selection: Appointment was overseen by the Nominations Committee with the use of an external recruitment consultant.
