BOARD APPOINTMENT
The Board of InterX, the Internet software company, is
delighted to announce the appointment of Mike Shinya as a
non-executive director with effect from today.
Mike is currently Executive Vice-President, Worldwide
Sales for Baan Company N.V. and a nominated member of the
Baan Company Management Board. He was previously the UK
Commercial Sales Director for Oracle Corporation UK
Limited, where he was in charge of sales and account
management for the UK and Ireland. He was also Vice-
President of Sales Operations for Europe, Middle East and
Africa. Prior to joining Oracle, Mike was UK Sales
Director for SAS Institute.
Philip Crawford, Chief Executive of InterX, commented:
'Mike's appointment is the latest in a series of senior
hires at InterX. We look forward to benefiting from his
knowledge and expertise, particularly in the area of
software licence sales where he has a track record of
excellence and success. His international experience and

There are no matters relating to Mike Shinya that need to
be disclosed pursuant to Rule 16.4 of the Listing Rules.

On 19 June, InterX also announced the appointment of
Philip Crawford with effect from 7 August 2000. Philip
Crawford is one of Europe's most prominent information
technology executives and has previously been President
of Operations at EDS International, the IT services
group, and Senior Vice-President, UK and Ireland, for
Oracle Corporation.
