888 (LSE: 888), one of the world's leading betting and gaming companies with internationally renowned brands including William Hill, 888 and Mr Green, today confirms that further to the announcement on 25 July 2023, Per Widerström has been appointed to the board of directors and as CEO with immediate effect.
Lord Mendelsohn, who had been acting as interim Executive Chair since 30 January has returned to his positon as Non-Executive Chair. In line with the announcement on 26 September, Lord Mendelsohn has also been appointed as a member of the Nominations Committee with immediate effect.
It is further announced that the Audit Committee becomes the Audit and Risk Committee with immediate effect.
The Group will release its Q3 2023 Trading Update on Wednesday 18 October.
