Circ re. Live Q&A session with EWIT Chair

RNS ANNOUNCEMENT

24 March 2026

Q&A session with Chair Jonathan Simpson-Dent at 12pm on 27 March 2026

Edinburgh Worldwide Investment Trust plc (EWIT or the Company) will host a live Q&A session on Friday, 27 March 2026, at 12pm (GMT).

The webinar will provide shareholders with the opportunity to ask the Chair, Jonathan Simpson-Dent, questions in relation to the proposed Tender Offer. The session will be open to all shareholders and other interested parties.

Questions may be submitted in advance to enquiries@bailliegifford.com up to 5pm (GMT) on 26 March 2026, or during the live presentation.

Shareholders can register to attend the presentation and participate in the Q&A session via: https://page.bailliegifford.com/EWIT-Chair-webinar-0326.html?utm_campaign=ind-ewit-webinar-invite&utm_medium=circular&utm_source=RNS&utm_content=link

The Board reiterates the importance of shareholders voting in favour of the Tender Offer in order to provide a clear and definitive choice: to realise value ahead of a potential change of control, or to remain invested and assess how the Company may evolve under Saba's influence.

Saba's proposed directors

In addition to voting on the Tender Offer, shareholders will need to decide whether to tender their shares. To assist in informing that decision, the Board invited Saba's proposed Board nominees - Gabriel Gliksberg, Jassen Trenkow and Michael Joseph - to participate in the webinar so that shareholders could ask questions regarding their intentions should they be appointed to the Board. However, those nominees have not responded to the invitation and are not expected to attend.

Jonathan Simpson-Dent, Chair of EWIT, said:

"The Board believes that the Tender Offer is in the best interests of shareholders as a whole, providing a clear choice in the context of a likely change of control. For shareholders to have that choice, it is vital that they vote, and that turnout is at least as strong as in the previous campaign. I look forward to answering any questions that shareholders may have on Friday."

A copy of the circular containing relating to the Tender Offer is available to download from the Company's website at www.edinburghworldwide.co.uk and its microsite, www.trustewit.com, as are instructions on how to vote according to the platform used.

THE BOARD STRONGLY RECOMMENDS THAT SHAREHOLDERS VOTE IN FAVOUR OF THE RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE PROPOSED TENDER OFFER.

YOU MUST VOTE BY 14:00 (GMT) ON 08 APRIL 2026, ALTHOUGH SOME PLATFORMS MAY HAVE DEADLINES AS EARLY AS 30 MARCH 2026.
