Pursuant to the UK Listing Rule 6.4.9R requirement to give notice of any new directorships held by directors,  DFS Furniture plc  (the "Company") announces that non-executive director, Gill Barr, Chair of the Remuneration Committee and a member of the Company's Audit & Risk Committee, Responsible and Sustainable Business Committee and the Nomination Committee, has been appointed as a non-executive director of Bellway p.l.c.
