Calgary, Alberta (FSCwire) - Tenth Avenue Petroleum Corp. (“TAPC”)(TSXV: TPC) TAPC is pleased to announce that Mr. Robin Chan, Calgary, Alberta will be assuming the role of interim CFO effectively immediately.  His appointment is on an interim basis until his appointment is approved by the TSX Venture Exchange.  Robin brings a wealth of experience in the junior oil and gas exploration and production industry as both an accounting consultant and as a CFO with private and public companies.   Robin holds a Bachelor degree in Applied Accounting from the University of Athabasca, Alberta; he is a designated Certified Management Accountant with the Institute of CMA’s of Australia and he holds is CAPPA Certification for petroleum production accounting.  Robin replaces Craig Leggatt.  Mr. Leggatt will be remaining on the board of TAPC and the Audit Committee.  Mr. Leggatt and the management of TAPC determined that it would be appropriate to replace Mr. Leggatt with an individual with more day to day accounting skills in light of the increased operational activities of TAPC since it acquired assets in the Waskahigan area of Alberta in 2017.  TAPC also wishes to advise that at the Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders held February 19, 2018, the shareholders approved the change of auditors for fiscal period ended December 31, 2017 to Calvista LLP, Calgary, Alberta.  The shareholders approved the appointment of a fourth director who shall join the audit committee replacing Gregory J. Leia.  This will result in the audit committee consisting of 3 independent members all of whom are financially literate.  The new directors appointment is subject to approval of the TSX Venture Exchange. The name of the fourth director will be press released upon approval.
