RESULT OF 6 FOR 1 RIGHTS ISSUE
The Company's rights issue of 11,194,698 New Ordinary Shares at 25 pence per
share, which was announced on 18 May 2001, closed at 3.00 p.m. on 2 July 2001.
The Board of Cohen announces that valid acceptances have been received in
respect of 1,100,419 New Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 9.8 per
cent. of the total number of New Ordinary Shares offered pursuant to the
Rights Issue. The balance of the New Ordinary Shares will be subscribed for by
the sub-underwriters at the Rights Issue Price of 25 pence per share for those
New Ordinary Shares for which valid acceptances were not received.
Dealings in the New Ordinary Shares commenced, fully paid, at 8.00 a.m. on 3
July 2001. It is expected that CREST stock accounts will be credited for New
Ordinary Shares in uncertificated form on 5 July 2001 and that definitive
share certificates in respect of the New Ordinary Shares will be despatched by
10 July 2001.
Terms defined in the Company's announcement dated 18 May 2001 shall, unless
the context requires otherwise, have the same meanings in this announcement.
