TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

Close Brothers Group plc (the 'Company') announces that on 9 February 2026 it transferred 172 ordinary shares of 25 pence each from treasury to participants in its employee share plans. The transfer price was 243 pence. Following the transfer of these shares, the Company holds 1,522,855 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 150,537,435 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
