Caterpillar Inc 12 April 2000 Caterpillar Inc. today declared a cash dividend of thirty-two and one-half cents ($.325) per share on its common stock, payable May 20, 2000, to stockholders of record at the close of business April 24, 2000. This maintains the dividend rate declared for the previous quarter. Ex-dividend date is Thursday, April 20, 2000.
