Newsplayer Group plc ('Newsplayer')
Placement of Shares
Paul Duffen, Chief Executive and Barry Llewellyn, Director of Newsplayer
together with two founding shareholders, Reef Securities and Guy Middleton
successfully placed a total of 3.25 million ordinary shares of 1p each
('Ordinary Shares') at a price of 37p per share with institutional
shareholders yesterday. These shares were placed to increase liquidity in the
market for Newsplayer shares.
Paul Duffen sold 975,000 Ordinary Shares representing 1.48 per cent of the
issued share capital of Newsplayer at 37p per Ordinary Share. Following the
sale, Paul Duffen continues to hold 8,322,036 Ordinary Shares representing
12.65 per cent of the issued share capital.
Barry Llewellyn sold 975,000 Ordinary Shares representing 1.48 per cent of the
issued share capital of Newsplayer at 37p per Ordinary Share. Following the
sale, Barry Llewellyn continues to hold 8,322,036 Ordinary Shares representing
12.65 per cent of the issued share capital.
Reef Securities sold 975,000 Ordinary Shares representing 1.48 per cent of the
issued share capital of Newsplayer at 37p per Ordinary Share. Following the
sale, Reef Securities continues to hold 8,426,646 Ordinary Shares representing
12.8 per cent of the issued share capital.
Guy Middleton sold 325,000 Ordinary Shares representing 0.49 per cent of the
issued share capital of Newsplayer at 37p per Ordinary Share. Following the
sale, Guy Middleton continues to hold 4,313,518 Ordinary Shares representing
6.55 per cent of the issued share capital.
