Blocklisting Application

Bloomsbury Publishing announces that it has today made an application to the Financial Conduct Authority (the "FCA") and to the London Stock Exchange for the admission of 2,000,000 ordinary shares of 1.25 pence each in the Company (the 'Shares') by way of a blocklisting, subject to future issues of shares under the following share schemes:

Bloomsbury Publishing Plc 2023 Executive Share Plan      1,000,000 Shares

Bloomsbury Publishing Plc 2023 Sharesave Plan               1,000,000 Shares

The shares will be issued fully paid and will, upon issue, rank pari passu in all respects with the Company's existing issued shares. Admission, subject to allotment, is expected to occur on 21 November 2023.
