Directors' Notification of Dealing in Shares

Artisan (UK) PLC 18 April 2000 Artisan (UK) plc ('the Company') Director's Shareholding The Company was notified yesterday that Stephen Dean, Chairman of the Company, had purchased on 17 April 2000, 250,000 ordinary shares in the Company at 15.5p per share. This transaction increases Stephen Dean's beneficial holding in the Company to 24,000,000 ordinary shares representing 9.7% of the issued share capital.
