Re Directorate and Directors Shareholdings
The Board of Artisan is pleased to announce the appointment yesterday of Mr
Michael Stevens and Mr John Hemingway as non-executive directors.
Mr Stevens will join the Board as deputy Chairman. He is also a director of
Aspen Finance Limited. He brings to the Board extensive knowledge and
understanding of the construction and property management market.
Mr Hemingway, who is also a director of First Hungary Fund, Red Emerald (UK)
Limited, Erringham (Ventures) Limited and Erringham Investments Limited, brings
with him a wealth of experience which will the Board believes will make a
valuable contribution to the maintenance or current, and creation of further,
shareholder value.
Mr Hemingway's appointment follows the resignation of John Jones from the board
of Artisan (UK) plc, to concentrate on his position as Managing Director of
Rippon Homes Limited, a subsidiary of Artisan (UK) plc.
Hemery Trustees Limited has today sold its 10,000,000 ordinary shares in Artisan
(UK) plc, in which Stephen Dean is beneficially interested, at 11p per share to
Aspen Finance Limited. Following this disposal Mr Dean will neither hold nor
have any beneficial interest in ordinary shares in the Company and Mr Stevens
will be interested in 10,000,000 ordinary shares representing 3.72% of the
Company's issued share capital.
Michael Winston Stevens, aged 48, holds or has held the following directorships
or partnerships within the last five years.
