DIRECTOR CHANGE AND CHANGES TO BOARD COMMITTEES

In accordance with Listing Rule 6.4.6, Antofagasta plc (the "Company") announces that Vivianne Blanlot, a Non-Executive Director of the Company since 2014, has resigned from the Antofagasta plc board with effect from
31 March 2025, having served as a Director for 11 years. She will therefore step down as a Director of the Company, and a member of the Sustainability and Stakeholder Management and Projects Committees with effect from the same date.

The Company's Chairman, Jean-Paul Luksic, said; "I would like to thank Vivianne for the tremendous contribution she has made to the Board, including her distinguished leadership of the Sustainability and Stakeholder Management Committee from 2016 until 2024."

Ms. Blanlot has not and will not receive any loss of office payments, nor will she be paid any further remuneration for her service as a director of the Company, other than that accrued up to 31 March 2025.
