Jed Richardson

Jed Richardson is a qualified mine engineer and capital markets professional with over 25 years of experience in mineral exploration, mine finance, resource development and executive leadership. He holds a B.A.Sc. in Mineral and Geological Engineering from the University of Toronto. Early in his career, Mr. Richardson worked as a Research Analyst at Cormark/Sprott Securities covering silver and base metals companies. During that time, he played a role in introducing institutional investors to emerging silver producers, including First Majestic Silver and Fortuna Silver & Gold, two companies that went on to become significant players in the global silver sector. Mr. Richardson subsequently held the role of Vice-President of Corporate Development at Verde Potash, where he was responsible for developing resource assets in Brazil. Mr. Richardson also served as President & CEO of Great Quest, a TSX-V listed company that began as a fertilizer resource developer active in Mali before pivoting to gold exploration. Under his leadership, he gained practical experience building and operating junior resource companies in Africa. Great Quest subsequently completed a reverse takeover and relisted as Ongwe Minerals Inc. in 2026.
