VP ExplorationJames is a professional geologist with over 20 years of international experience specializing in mineral exploration, mine development, and strategic planning. He has led technical teams and managed projects across various geological settings, including working on epithermal systems in Mexico for more than 10 years. His background includes exploration planning, mineral resource estimation, technical reporting, underground mining in narrow-vein systems, open pit and heap leach operations, and reconciliation. Most recently, he served in senior leadership roles at SilverCrest Metals Inc., culminating as Interim Vice President, Exploration, where he played a key role in mineral resource growth and ramp-up of the Las Chispas Mine in Sonora, Mexico, leading to its acquisition by Coeur Mining in February 2025. James is a graduate from the University of Waterloo, is a registered P.Geo in British Columbia, and has authored numerous Technical Reports as a Qualified Person under NI 43-101, JORC, and SK1300.
