Brazilian telecom operator Telefonica Brasil BMFBOVESPA:VIVT3 has won a bidding process to install smart hydrometers for local utility Sabesp BMFBOVESPA:SBSP3, in a deal that could require investments of up to 3.5 billion reais ($635.9 million), local news outlet Exame reported on Tuesday.
