CALGARY, April 2 /CNW/ - Rocky Mountain Dealerships Inc. ("Rocky Mountain" or the "Company") (TSX:RME), a leading Canadian network of full service agricultural and construction equipment dealerships, announced today that it has closed on the previously announced acquisition of Heartland Equipment Limited ("Heartland"), a farm equipment dealership in Drumheller, Alberta.
Heartland represents the Case IH agriculture brand, and also carries Kubota, Bourgault, and Farm King equipment. In its most recent fiscal year ended October 31, 2008, Heartland reported approximate revenues of $28.1 million. Heartland's dealership location is contiguous to the Company's Balzac store and increases Rocky Mountain's presence in the southeastern portion of Alberta.
