Posco Future M plans to build LFP cathode factory in Korea for energy storage systems

South Korea's Posco Future M said on Tuesday its board has approved a plan to build a lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) cathode materials factory in South Korea for energy storage systems with a target annual capacity of 50,000 tons, according to an emailed statement. The plant will be built through an investment by a joint venture with China's CNGR Advanced Material Co., the company said.
