Italian Economy Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti said on Wednesday he would resign immediately if there were any disagreements between him and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni's office on UniCredit's MIL:UCG bid for Banco BPM MIL:BAMI.Speaking in the Senate, Giorgetti said the government was focused on monitoring compliance with the "golden power" conditions it has set to give its approval to the proposed deal.
