Ecuador will get $880 million by renewing a contract with America Movil and Millicom through 2038, Telecommunications Minister Roberto Kury said on Wednesday.The payment for the use of the country's radio spectrum will be done in two parts. A first payment of approximately $610 million will be made before the end of the year, and the rest will be based on sales during the concession period, Kury explained at a press conference.
