Brazil raw steel output rises 5.0 % in May, AÇO BRASIL says

SAO PAULO, 20 June (Reuters) – Raw steel output in Brazil rose 5.0 % to 2.706 million tonnes in May in an annual basis, Aco Brasil, the group that represents mills, said on Friday. Sales in the local market rose 3.8 % to 1.788 million tonnes in the May from the same period a year earlier,the institute, known as Aço Brasil, said in a report.
